1) 在單數名詞后加's， 如：Tom's book  my father's friend

　　2) 在以s結尾的復數名詞后只加 '： the students' desks   theteachers' office

　　3) 在不以s結尾的復數名詞后加's： men's clothes (男服)  Children's Day

　　4) 如并列名詞屬各自所有的東西，則在名詞后分別加's

　　Tom's and Mike's bikes (湯姆和邁克各自的車子)

　　如并列名詞為其共有， 則只需在最后名詞加's，如：John and Jim's room (約翰和吉姆的屋子)

　　例： I found the bottle in ____room.

　　表示無生命的名詞所有格常用of短語構成：

　　the window of the classroom (教室的窗戶)

　　students of Class 2 (二班的學生)

　　在表示所屬物的名詞前有冠詞，數詞，指示代詞或不定代詞時，常用of + 名詞所有格(名詞性物主代詞)形式，

　　例如：a friend of my father's (我父親的一位朋友)

　　名詞作定語

　　名詞作定語一般用單數形式， 如： banana trees。但man、woman等修飾復數名詞時， 須用復數形式， 如： women doctors。
